He was born in Vezirköprü in October 20, 1996. After he completed his primary, secondary and high education in Vezirköprü, he graduated from Public Administration Department of İstanbul University’s Faculty of Political Science in 1987. He started his career as Assistant Customs Inspector in the Ministry of Finance and Customs in December 16, 1989. Then, he worked as Inspector of Customs, Chief Customs Inspector and Deputy Head Manager of İstanbul Customs and Enforcement Directorate under the Undersecretariat of Customs subsequently.
He was appointed to Customs Deputy Undersecretary in May 28, 2008 and then General Director to General Directorate of Liquidation and Revolving Funds in March 24, 2013. He worked as Deputy Undersecretary Undersecretariat of Customs between July 20, 2009 and October 14, 2009, as well as between August 3, 2010 and November 11, 2010. He has been working as Customs Counsellor of Embassy of Baku since January 31, 2013.
He made an investigation and examination about methods applied in fighting against smuggling in England between 2002 and 2003 with the Organization of Customs Administration of England. Furthermore, he worked as co-chairman of Foreign Trade and Customs Technical Committee of Improvement of the Investment Environment in Turkey Coordination Commission for a period.
He is married and he has four children.
